Where to take trash from a Sevier County cabin
If you’re staying in an overnight rental, take your trash to the Center View or Wears Valley multipurpose center. The other 10 centers are for Sevier County residents only.
Sevier County calls its staffed trash drop-off sites “convenience centers.”

Before you load the car
Bring your trash in bags. The multipurpose centers don’t accept loose trash.
The county doesn’t post a fee for guests who bring their own trash. Call Sevier County Solid Waste at 865-428-0042 before you go.
The county’s October 2024 policy names Whites School and Center View as the sites for rental trash. Its website names Center View and Wears Valley. If you were planning on Whites School, call first.
For hosts and cleaning companies
Short-term rental cleaning companies pay by load at the multipurpose centers: $10, $15, or $20 depending on load size. Loads bigger than the top level go to the Sevier County landfill.
The county’s Solid Waste page lists which truck and trailer loads count as each level.
