What it takes
The Brunswick County Landfill takes some paint, used motor oil, and batteries.
Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.
Brunswick County rules
- The convenience centers charge for household trash by the bag: $3 for up to 20 gallons, $4 for 21 to 40 gallons, and $5 for bigger bags. Trucks bigger than a standard pickup go to the landfill.
- Every site takes waste from Brunswick County only.
- Secure items in the truck bed, cover loose material, and put a red flag on anything sticking out past the bed.
