How to get rid of old paint in Cabarrus County

Paint goes to the Household Hazardous Waste Facility, 246 General Services Drive SW, Concord, which takes hazardous waste only on the first Wednesday of each month (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and the third Saturday (8 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Its paint swap shop gives away recovered latex and spray paint by appointment.
