Granville County rules
- Granville County’s seven convenience sites, which GFL Environmental runs for the county, are for county residents only. They take household trash, bulky furniture, scrap metal, antifreeze, used motor oil and filters, cooking oil, and fluorescent bulbs and tubes. Trash or debris from a job site or a business goes to the Oxford Landfill.
- The convenience sites don’t take burned trash or burn barrels, business electronics, car batteries, construction and demolition waste, liquid or hazardous waste such as paint and pesticide containers, tires, appliances with freon, oil mixed with water, wooden pallets, or yard waste and brush.
