Hoke County convenience centers and dump hours

South Central North Carolina, on Eastern time

Convenience centers are what most people call the dump. This page covers five convenience centers and the Hoke County Transfer Station. Each one’s hours are posted below, with the rules that apply.

What to do with tires, mattresses, paint, and more

Convenience centers

  • Hoke County’s five staffed convenience sites are for households that pay the county’s yearly availability fee and display a valid Solid Waste sticker, sold at the Pratt Building, 227 North Main Street, Raeford. They take limited amounts of household garbage and recyclables; no business or commercial waste. Anything else goes to the transfer station, which may charge for it.
