How to get rid of household hazardous waste in Nash County

Nash County’s convenience centers don’t take hazardous waste. It goes to the free America Recycles Day collection held each year in Rocky Mount (Nov. 8 in 2025), which also takes paint, auto fluids, pesticides, and electronics; the county posts the date on its Solid Waste page.
