What it takes

It’s the only place in Franklin County that takes construction debris. The Joyce Lane Center takes tires, electronics, and batteries.

Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.

Franklin County rules

  • No commercial waste at the convenience centers or the Joyce Lane Center. It goes to the Republic transfer station at 9577 Tullahoma Highway in Estill Springs.
  • House, rental, shed, and garage cleanouts, construction and demolition waste, and painted or pressure-treated wood go to the Republic transfer station in Estill Springs, not the county’s sites.
