Madison County convenience centers and dump hours
Convenience centers are what most people call the dump. This page covers 10 convenience centers and the Madison County Landfill. Each one’s posted hours are below, with the rules that apply.
Convenience centers
- The centers are for Madison County residents and household waste only: no commercial waste, business loads, or large trailers, which go to the landfill. If you’ve just moved to the county, call the Environmental Office at 731-423-3020, extension 2002.
- Every center takes metal. Cardboard goes to Pipkin Road, Highway 70, Smith Lane, Highway 45 South, Passmore Lane, or Oakfield Road; glass to Highway 70 East, Highway 45 South, Mercer, Smith Lane, or Oakfield. Pipkin, Passmore, and Oakfield have Goodwill donation drop-offs.
