Alachua County rules
- Alachua County collects garbage, recycling, and yard waste in its curbside service areas (Office of Waste Collection, 352-374-5213), with free curbside pickup of bulky items; GFL Environmental (844-351-0622) picks up large appliances on request. Homes outside those areas can subscribe with a franchised hauler: GFL Environmental, Waste Pro, Republic Services, or Florida Express Environmental.
