Manatee County dump hours

Tampa Bay, on Eastern time

This page covers the Lena Road Landfill and the Manatee County Hazardous Waste Facility. Each one’s hours are posted below, with the rules that apply.

What to do with tires, mattresses, paint, and more

Before you go

  • Since May 1, 2026, unincorporated Manatee County customers can set out two bulk items at the curb once a month on their zone’s day, free; tires, appliances, and the yearly 10-cubic-yard pickup have to be scheduled through the county’s customer portal. More items cost $59 each, or take them to the landfill’s residential drop-off.

Landfills

  • Cars, SUVs, and passenger minivans pay a flat $5 at the landfill’s residential drop-off, and pickups with no trailer $23 for loads under 1,000 pounds. Everything else crosses the scales and pays by the ton. Uncovered loads and mixed loads (yard waste or tires in with garbage) pay double, and waste from outside Manatee County pays triple. Cash, check, or card.
