Nassau County convenience centers and dump hours

Northeast Florida, on Eastern time

Convenience centers are what most people call the dump. This page covers the Convenience Recycling Center and two recycling centers. Each one’s posted hours are below, with the rules that apply.

What to do with tires, mattresses, paint, and more

Before you go

  • Nassau County holds a hazardous waste recycling event and a waste tire event each spring and fall, announced on its website.
  • Nassau County doesn’t provide curbside recycling; ask your garbage hauler to set it up.

Convenience centers

  • The Convenience Recycling Center takes residential waste that Nassau County residents haul themselves, free: bagged household trash, pickup loads, and trailers up to 6 by 10 feet (no extended sides or double axles), plus appliances, furniture, mattresses, TVs and other electronics, scrap metal, cooking oil, and recyclables. No more than two loads in seven days, and no rental or foreclosure cleanouts.
