What it takes

Carroll County’s other nine convenience centers take the same items. The Carroll County Transfer Station takes tires, brush, and construction debris.

Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.

Carroll County rules

  • All 10 convenience centers take household garbage, furniture, appliances without Freon, and cardboard and mixed paper for recycling, at no charge. Aluminum and metal recycling are at most centers, plastic at Newnan Road, Dyer Road, and Holly Springs Road, and glass at those three and Old Villa Rica Road. Don’t bag recyclables.
  • Keep Carroll Beautiful holds collection events twice a year for electronics, tires, and household hazardous waste.
