What it takes
Columbia County’s other recycling center takes the same items.
Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.
Columbia County rules
- Columbia County’s two recycling centers take sorted recyclables (paper, cardboard, No. 1 and 2 plastics, cans, food and drink glass), scrap metal, appliances, electronics, and lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries. Unaccepted items go home with you. They don’t take household garbage, paint, chemicals, tires, CRT TVs or monitors, or yard waste.
