Effingham County rules
- The Dry Waste and Recycling Center charges 10 cents a pound ($200 a ton). Twice a year, usually spring and fall, the county holds free disposal days for bulk waste; it announces them on its social media pages.
- Atlantic Waste collects trash and recycling at the curb in unincorporated Effingham County (912-964-2000).
