Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.
Forsyth County rules
- Forsyth County’s three convenience centers take bagged household trash and recyclables from county residents only, nothing from businesses. Trash is $0.50 a bag if you also bring recycling and $1 a bag if you don’t, up to five 32-gallon bags a day, cash only. Most recycling is free.
- The centers don’t take yard waste, hazardous materials, liquid cleaners, pesticides, or fertilizers, or mattresses, furniture, or anything else that won’t fit in a 32-gallon bag, except metal, electronics, and tires.
