Habersham County dump hours
This page covers the Habersham County Landfill and two recycling centers. Each one’s hours are posted below, with the rules that apply.
Landfills
- The Habersham County Landfill charges $65 a ton with a $25 minimum (since Aug. 1, 2026). Every vehicle crosses the scale going in and out, even with only recycling, and loads must be covered. It takes everything but hazardous materials, and no construction or demolition debris since Feb. 29, 2024.
- Below the landfill’s scale house, a row of trailers takes up to six bags of household garbage ($25 minimum) and free recycling, including electronics (no tube TVs) and car and truck batteries.
