Liberty County convenience centers and dump hours

Southeast Georgia, on Eastern time

Convenience centers are what most people call the dump. This page covers seven convenience centers and the Liberty County Transfer Station. Each one’s hours are posted below, with the rules that apply.

What to do with tires, mattresses, paint, and more

Before you go

  • The seven convenience centers are only for Liberty County residents who don’t get polycart (curbside) service; using them otherwise is illegal. Everyone else, and contractors, use the transfer station ($53.78 a ton).
  • No convenience center or the transfer station takes tires, concrete, large trees, anything with gasoline or motor oil, or liquid paint.
  • Every convenience center takes plastics No. 1 to 7, cans, cardboard, mixed paper, and glass bottles and jars. Three more recycling-only sites are open around the clock: 129 Sandy Run Road (off US 84 at the Enmark station, Hinesville), 941 E.G. Miles Parkway (Hinesville), and 4000 South Coastal Highway (Riceboro).
