How to get rid of old batteries in Muscogee County

Pine Grove Landfill doesn’t take batteries, and curbside recycling doesn’t either. Columbus collects household hazardous waste once a year at a drive-through collection day at the Recycling and Sustainability Center, 8001 Pine Grove Way, for Columbus residents, which takes car batteries and rechargeable batteries.
