Union County convenience centers and dump hours
Convenience centers are what most people call the dump. This page covers two convenience centers and the Union County Transfer Station & Recycling Center. Each one’s posted hours are below, with the rules that apply.
What to do with tires, mattresses, paint, and more
Before you go
- Recycling is free at all three sites: #1 and #2 plastics, flattened corrugated cardboard and clean pizza boxes, mixed paper, aluminum cans (not steel), and glass. Rinse containers and keep each kind separate.
- County ordinance requires every truck hauling waste to be enclosed or covered. The transfer station takes bagged trash and recyclables from residents, plus commercial waste; it’s not a landfill.
