How to get rid of old paint in Buncombe County

Paint goes to the landfill only on the landfill’s household hazardous waste collection days (the county’s calendar lists Tuesday, Nov. 3, and Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2026), at $2 a gallon, up to 20 gallons a week.
