Jackson County rules
- Jackson County’s eight Staffed Recycling Centers take household trash only from Jackson County residents, at no charge, and recycling from anyone. No commercial waste. Recycling is two-stream: cans, bottles, and jars go in Commingled Recycling, and paper and cardboard in Fiber/Mixed Paper.
- Jackson County’s sites don’t take hazardous or liquid waste, regulated medical waste, unpackaged sharps, railroad ties, asbestos, or anything with refrigerant, such as refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers.
