Jackson County convenience centers and dump hours
Convenience centers are what most people call the dump. This page covers eight convenience centers and the Jackson County Transfer Station. Each one’s hours are posted below, with the rules that apply.
What to do with tires, mattresses, paint, and more
Before you go
- Jackson County’s sites don’t take hazardous or liquid waste, regulated medical waste, unpackaged sharps, railroad ties, asbestos, or anything with refrigerant, such as refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers.
Convenience centers
- Jackson County’s eight Staffed Recycling Centers take household trash only from Jackson County residents, at no charge, and recycling from anyone. No commercial waste. Recycling is two-stream: cans, bottles, and jars go in Commingled Recycling, and paper and cardboard in Fiber/Mixed Paper.
