What it takes

It’s one of four Union County convenience centers that take electronics and some batteries. The Union County Landfill takes tires, appliances, mattresses, brush, and construction debris.

Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.

Union County rules

  • Union County residents can drop off up to 10 standard 13-gallon bags (or five bigger bags) of household garbage a day free with the Trash Pass: show a vehicle registration, ID, or utility bill, and the attendant gives you a window decal. Bigger loads go to the landfill, which charges by the load.
  • Cover your load before you come: unsecured loads pay twice the usual fees.
