How to get rid of old paint in Union County
Oil-based paint, stains, solvents, and spray paint go only to Union County’s free yearly household hazardous waste event each fall (the last was Sept. 12, 2026; the 2027 date isn’t set). The county says water-based paint can be taken care of at home; its Paints page explains how.
