What it takes
It’s one of three Dorchester County convenience centers that take electronics. The Miles Jamison Road Convenience Site and the Sandy Pines Convenience Site take brush.
Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.
Dorchester County rules
- Dorchester County’s convenience sites take residential waste from the county only, and proof of residency may be required. No vehicles bigger than a 3/4-ton pickup, no trailers bigger than single-axle, and no pickup-and-trailer combinations. Nothing from contractors or businesses, and no vehicles with contractor or business signs.
- Yard debris the sites won’t take (limbs over 4 feet, stumps, business loads) can go to the Carolina Waste Landfill, 355 Harrison Rd., Dorchester, for a fee.
