What it takes
Fairfield County’s other 10 convenience centers take the same items.
Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.
Fairfield County rules
- Fairfield County’s recycling sites need a Fairfield County sticker on your windshield. Get one at the Public Works office, or by mail, with proof of residence such as your tax map number or driver’s license.
- Contractors can’t use the recycling sites: they need a permit, from the Public Works office, to haul trash to the county’s transfer station on the north end of the 321 Bypass, next door to that office.
