What it takes
Hampton County’s other eight convenience centers take the same items. The Hampton County Main Landfill takes some household hazardous waste.
Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.
Hampton County rules
- Hampton County’s convenience sites are for residential use only; using them for business waste is illegal. Contractors and businesses take everything, yard debris included, to the Main Landfill. The sites take household garbage, but no hazardous materials and no burned debris or burn barrels.
- The Garnett Site on Robertville Road is closed until further notice.
