What it takes

Laurens County’s other nine convenience centers take the same items. The Laurens County Recycling Center takes appliances and brush. The Laurens County Transfer Station takes construction debris.

Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.

Laurens County rules

  • Laurens County’s Green Box sites take household garbage from county residents and property owners. Show a South Carolina driver’s license or ID with a Laurens County address (property owners who live elsewhere bring a county tax notice in their name), and you’ll get a windshield sticker. Each household can bring one full load a week: a truck bed filled to the top, or one layer in a small 4-by-6-foot utility trailer.
