What it takes

Lexington County rules
- Lexington County’s collection and recycling centers are for county residents, with waste from their own home; bring ID. Businesses, landscapers, contractors, and rental properties can’t use the centers and take their waste to the Edmund Landfill, where fees apply.
- The centers don’t take electronics, propane or other pressurized tanks, or appliances with Freon, which go to the Edmund Landfill, or household hazardous waste, which goes to the county’s collection days.
