Giles County convenience centers and dump hours
Convenience centers are what most people call the dump. This page covers four convenience centers and the Industrial Park Recycling Center. Each one’s hours are posted below, with the rules that apply.
What to do with tires, mattresses, paint, and more
Before you go
- No center takes construction debris, trees, or lumber, or a trailer longer than 12 feet.
Convenience centers
- The four convenience centers take bagged household trash, large debris such as broken furniture, household bulk items, scrap metal, appliances, used motor oil, cooking oil, and batteries, plus clean recycling: flattened cardboard, paper, #1 and #2 plastics, aluminum, and rinsed tin cans.
- Only the Ag Convenience Center takes household hazardous waste, TVs and computers, tires, and glass for recycling.
