What it takes
Putnam County’s other eight convenience centers take the same items. The Putnam County Landfill takes tires, brush, and construction debris. The Putnam County Household Hazardous Waste Facility takes some paint and household hazardous waste.
Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.
Putnam County rules
- Putnam County’s sites take only waste generated in Putnam County.
- The convenience centers take household trash, used oil, cardboard, paper, #1 and #2 plastic, cans, metal and appliances, furniture, mattresses and box springs, and leaves. They don’t take tires, construction waste, brush, wire, hazardous waste, or commercial waste, and no double-axle trailers.
