How to get rid of household hazardous waste in the City of Lynchburg
Lynchburg holds a free household hazardous waste and electronics day for Lynchburg and Campbell County residents each April at the Concord Turnpike Convenience Center: oil-based paint, solvents, pesticides, pool chemicals, cleaners, motor oil, antifreeze, batteries, and light bulbs. Bring photo ID and the city’s verification form; it doesn’t count against your 500 pounds.
