It’s the only place in Clay County that takes paint, electronics, and household hazardous waste.

Clay County rules

  • Clay County households that pay the solid waste assessment can bring 500 pounds a month free to Rosemary Hill. Beyond that, loads that don’t come from a franchise hauler pay $78 a ton for household garbage, $84 for construction debris, $53 for yard waste, and $76 for appliances and scrap metal.
  • FCC Environmental Services collects garbage and yard waste once a week (904-490-9996) and picks up bulk items on call, up to two large items or 3 cubic yards, once a month per household. Extra bags outside the cart need a $5 overflow sticker, sold at county libraries.
