Orange County dump hours

East Central Florida, on Eastern time

This page covers the Orange County Landfill and two transfer stations. Each one’s hours are posted below, with the rules that apply.

What to do with tires, mattresses, paint, and more

Before you go

  • Orange County residents can drop off household hazardous waste and electronics free at the landfill and the Porter Transfer Station, Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., where an attendant helps unload, and at the county’s community collection days. No business waste.

Landfills

  • Loads are weighed and charged by the ton, $10 at least: $56.40 a ton for household garbage, and $42.70 for construction debris, furniture, and other non-garbage waste, which only the landfill takes. Uncovered loads pay double, mixed loads pay the higher rate, and if you leave without weighing out you pay what you left as a deposit. Check, cash, or a major credit card.
  • At the landfill, vehicles and trailers under 30 feet long combined use the small vehicle drop-off area, where you unload by hand; longer ones are sent to the working face.
