Transfer stations

  • Household refuse is $10 a load up to 500 pounds, or $8 if you bring recycling too; heavier loads from county residents are $60 a ton. Recycling only is free. Out-of-county loads pay $21 up to 500 pounds. Loads with yard waste, construction debris, or business waste are weighed in and out.
  • Load recyclables to unload first, then household garbage, then everything else, and keep yard waste separate. Cover and secure every load. The Camp Road Convenience Center is permanently closed.
  • The landfill doesn’t take biomedical, hazardous, liquid, or radioactive waste, printed circuit boards, or lithium-ion batteries.
