Stephens County convenience centers and dump hours
Convenience centers are what most people call the dump. This page covers six convenience centers. Each one’s hours are posted below, with the rules that apply.
What to do with tires, mattresses, paint, and more
Before you go
- Stephens County’s five convenience centers and its bulky item center are for county residents only. The convenience centers take household waste, up to ten 30-gallon bags per person per day.
- The bulky item drop-off center takes appliances, furniture, mattresses, large toys, trampolines, bathtubs, toilets, and the like for $20 a truckload; check in at the Public Works office. It doesn’t take tires, free-flowing liquids, household garbage, yard waste, construction or demolition materials, boats, trailers, vehicles, or anything that needs a title or bill of sale.
