Stephens County rules

  • Stephens County’s five convenience centers and its bulky item center are for county residents only. The convenience centers take household waste, up to ten 30-gallon bags per person per day.
  • The bulky item drop-off center takes appliances, furniture, mattresses, large toys, trampolines, bathtubs, toilets, and the like for $20 a truckload; check in at the Public Works office. It doesn’t take tires, free-flowing liquids, household garbage, yard waste, construction or demolition materials, boats, trailers, vehicles, or anything that needs a title or bill of sale.
