Toombs County convenience centers and dump hours
Convenience centers are what most people call the dump. This page covers eight convenience centers and the Toombs County Landfill. Each one’s posted hours are below, with the rules that apply.
Convenience centers
- The seven Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Centers take Toombs County residents’ household waste free; out-of-county and commercial waste go to the landfill. Pull up beside the compactor, where the attendant meets you, and keep cardboard out of it. The centers don’t take car batteries, tires, paint, hazardous waste, dead animals, or commercial waste.
