What it takes
Toombs County’s other seven convenience centers take the same items. The Toombs County Landfill takes tires and construction debris.
Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.
Toombs County rules
- The seven Solid Waste and Recycling Collection Centers take Toombs County residents’ household waste free; out-of-county and commercial waste go to the landfill. Pull up beside the compactor, where the attendant meets you, and keep cardboard out of it. The centers don’t take car batteries, tires, paint, hazardous waste, dead animals, or commercial waste.
