What it takes
It’s the only place in Gaston County that takes some paint and construction debris.

Gaston County rules
- The New Hope Recycling Center is being rebuilt at 235 Lake Wylie Road in Belmont. The county expected it to open in early to mid October.
- The landfill charges $46 a ton for trash and construction debris and $26 a ton for yard waste, with a half-ton minimum. Uncovered or unsecured loads pay $200 more.
