Marion County dump hours
This page covers the Marion County Landfill and two recycling centers. Each one’s hours are posted below, with the rules that apply.
What to do with tires, mattresses, paint, and more
Before you go
- Marion County picks up household trash at the roadside for a monthly fee: $22 a month for one cart, $44 for two, or $264 a year for one cart, since Aug. 1, 2026 (cash, check, or money order). Its two recycling centers take recyclables only, no glass, and the county landfill doesn’t take household trash. Roadside pickup doesn’t take yard waste; the county suggests composting it at home.
