Pickens County convenience centers and dump hours
Convenience centers are what most people call the dump. This page covers eight convenience centers and the Pickens County Landfill. Each one’s hours are posted below, with the rules that apply.
What to do with tires, mattresses, paint, and more
Before you go
- Every Pickens County solid waste facility, the recycling centers and the landfill, requires a county decal. Get one at the Pickens County Administration Facility or the landfill.
Convenience centers
- No commercial vehicles, box trucks, enclosed trailers, or trailers over 10 feet at the recycling centers; larger trailers go to the landfill. The centers take no brick, block, concrete, rock, or dirt, and no more than one wheelbarrow load of shingles, brush, or yard debris. Businesses take their tires to the landfill.
