What it takes

It’s the only place in Arlington County that takes some paint, electronics, used motor oil, some batteries, and household hazardous waste. The Earth Products Yard takes appliances and some construction debris.

Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.

Arlington County rules

  • County trash customers can schedule curbside pickup of appliances, metal, and electronics online or at 703-228-5000; appliance pickups and old tube TVs and monitors carry a charge on the quarterly utility bill.
