Campbell County convenience centers and dump hours

Lynchburg District, on Eastern time

Convenience centers are what most people call the dump. This page covers nine convenience centers and the Livestock Road Regional Landfill. The Livestock Road Regional Landfill is run by Region 2000 Services Authority, not the county. Each one’s hours are posted below, with the rules that apply.

What to do with tires, mattresses, paint, and more

Before you go

  • All Campbell County residents, including those in Altavista and Brookneal, drop off household waste free at the county’s centers, up to a pickup truck bed (about 60 cubic feet) a day. Bigger loads, shingles, dead animals, and commercial waste go to the Region 2000 landfill.
