How to get rid of old paint in Fairfax County
Oil-based paint goes to the household hazardous waste sites at the I-66 Transfer Station and the I-95 Landfill Complex, free for county residents. Latex paint can be dried out and put in the trash, or taken to the same sites; the I-95 complex also has a latex-paint-only drop-off in Lot B every day it’s open.
