How to get rid of household hazardous waste in Floyd County

Floyd County takes it only at its household hazardous waste and electronics collection days, four times a year (February, May, August, and November) at 412 Lavender Drive in Rome, by appointment, for county residents. Poisons, pesticides, paint, automotive fluids, fluorescent bulbs, cleaners, and pool chemicals are taken.
